Midalidare Rock in the Wine Valley Festival took place 6-9th of June 2017 and is the continuation of Kavarna Rock Festival's best traidtions and practices. Located at the unique and gorgeous Midalidare wine estate, located in Mogilovo village near Chirpan, Bulgaria, the festival offered a unique setting for a rock festival. Amidst the estate's vineyards and production houses the heavy metal fans were treated to beautiful vistas, three amazing camp sites fully equiped with bathroom facilities and electricity and multitude of daily activities like organized bike trips, kids entertainments and wine tours and workshops for the parents, not to mention the unique food and wine catering for the multitude of hungry fans, making the festival the best organized heavy metal family weekend retreat.

The festival featured world-class acts such as Twisted Sister's Dee Schnider, Gotthard, Doro and Udo Dirkschneider. Continuning the tradition from Kavarna Rock Festival, the three day event was kicked-off by a full day Piraeus Bank Battle of the Bands, featuring bands hailing from Scotland, Israel, Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria. The winners - Bulgaria's very own Seconday had the chance to perform right after the headliners of the second day of the festival - Gotthard to the delight of hundreds of fans.
