AVANTASIA IN SOFIA: A STORY TOLD THROUGH MUSIC
On June 10, Asics Arena hosted Avantasia's first-ever standalone concert in Sofia, as part of the Here Be Dragons World Tour. Tobias Sammet's ambitious project once again proved that its greatest strength lies not only in its remarkable line-up of musicians, but in its ability to turn every performance into a complete musical journey.
Avantasia has never been just another supergroup. For more than two decades, Tobias Sammet's project has brought together some of the most distinctive voices in rock and metal. Yet its true identity has never been defined by the names on stage alone. It lies in the way every song becomes part of a larger narrative, transforming each concert into a story that unfolds from beginning to end.
From the very first songs, it became clear that this would not be a conventional concert built around a sequence of performances.
