For the first time in Sofia, we will be able to see and hear the German supergroup AVANTASIA, who will play on June 10, 2026 at the Asics Arena. During their 25-year existence, AVANTASIA has become one of the biggest leading forces in metal, with ten successful albums (such as Moonglow, which reached number 1 in the charts), completely sold-out world tours and appearances as headliners at all the most important metal festivals.

In the spring of 1999, then only 21, vocalist Tobias Sammet decided to jump into the deep end to fulfill his dream of a solo project in which he would work with his musical heroes. AVANTASIA's first single was released in the spring of 2000 and with it a new musical genre was created - "metal opera".

Over the years, AVANTASIA has worked with names such as Michael Kiske, Alice Cooper, Dee Snider, Floor Jansen, Joe Lynn Turner, Rudolf Schenker, Sharon den Adel and many others.
In Sofia, the star formation is expected to perform a set of over two hours, in which we will hear all the hits of the group, as well as new songs from their latest album "Here Be Dragons", released in February this year and considered the most powerful album of the group to date.
